HE The Minister receives exhibition organisers

Electricity and Water Affairs Minister Dr. Abdulhussain Mirza received Chief Executive Officer of AGE Amira Al Hassan and Advisor to the Ministry of Energy in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, Mohammad Al Dabbas, in the presence of officials of the Sustainable Energy Unit.
They will take part in the first solar energy investment exhibition and forum to be held from September 17 to 19 at the Bahrain International Exhibition Centre under the patronage of the Minister. The event is organized by the Electricity and Water Authority, AGE and the Sustainable Energy Unit.
The minister Mirza praised the efforts of the organizers in preparing for and organizing the forum, stressing that national platforms and entrepreneurs constitute an important pillar of economic growth as it seeks to activate the principles of community partnership.
The organization of such conferences, he said, is a pioneering achievement that confirms the results of the economic prosperity enjoyed by of Bahrain under the reign of His Majesty the King and with the support of His Royal Highness the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander First Deputy Premier.
The minister said Bahrain enjoys an encouraging economic climate for investments as well as the assets it has enjoyed throughout the ages, making it a financial hub for trade in the Middle East.
He said the forum is an application of the concept of community partnership between private sector institutions and Implementing the political legislations to activate sustainable energy use to achieve the welfare of the citizens and open the horizons of investment.
Ms. Al-Hassan thanked the minister for his patronage of the event and to the officials of the Sustainable Energy Unit for their cooperation in organizing the exhibition and forum.
